 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  Ondo Governor Aiyedatiwa Dissolves Cabinet, Retains Finance Commissioner, Attorney General


Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has dissolved the State Executive Council, which includes commissioners, special advisers, and the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).


However, two key members of the cabinet were exempted from the dissolution due to the essential nature of their roles. These are the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN, and the Commissioner for Finance, Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac.


This development was announced in a statement by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, in Akure, the state capital.


The statement directed all affected cabinet members to hand over government properties in their possession to the accounting officers of their respective ministries.


Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed his gratitude to the outgoing cabinet members for their service and contributions to the development of Ondo State and extended his best wishes for their future endeavors.
