  Chikun/Kajuru Rep, Hon. Fidelix Bagudu, Announces New Appointments To Strengthen Inclusive Governance The Honourable Member representing the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu, has announced a wide-ranging list of new appointments aimed at deepening inclusive governance and enhancing representation across the constituency. The appointments, which take immediate effect, were unveiled in alignment with Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani’s commitment to participatory governance. According to the lawmaker’s office, the list reflects deliberate efforts to ensure fair representation of all wards, communities, and interest groups across Chikun and Kajuru Local Government Areas (LGAs). A statement issued by the Media and Publicity Directorate noted that the move also fulfills the Honourable Member’s campaign pledge to integrate every segment of the constituency into the decision-making and governance structure. Kano: Fire guts part of demolished shop owned by TikToker Rahama Sa’idu


A fire outbreak on Thursday night gutted a section of a shop owned by popular TikTok personality, Rahama Sa’idu, barely 24 hours after part of the structure was demolished by officials of the Kano State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KNUPDA).


The shop, located along UDB Road in Tarauni Local Government Area of Kano State, had its frontage pulled down on Thursday by KNUPDA for allegedly violating urban development regulations.


Although the exact cause of the fire is yet to be confirmed by authorities, eyewitnesses suggest the blaze may have been triggered by welding work near the demolished area.


A welder was hired to repair the section that was pulled down, and while the welding was going on, fire suddenly erupted and spread quickly,” said one eyewitness who requested anonymity.


Another witness added that the fire extended beyond Rahama’s shop, affecting a nearby photography studio.


“It wasn’t just her place; the flames reached the photo studio next door too,” he said.


Security personnel have since sealed off the area to prevent looting and further damage.
