 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  ADEBAYO SALAMI'S 60TH ANNIVERSARY MOVIE PREMIERES JUNE 29


Veteran actor Adebayo Salami is releasing a new movie to mark 60 years of his acting career. Titled “Her Excellency," the movie will premiere on June 29 and will hit the cinemas on July 4, 2025.


The 72-year-old actor, began his acting career in 1964, and have featured in more than 300 Yoruba movies over the decades. His son, popular actor Femi Adebayo, expressed great enthusiasm at his father's 60th acting anniversary.


“Today, I stand with immense pride, gratitude, and joy as I celebrate my father—my mentor, my hero – @adebayo.salami as he marks 60 years of unwavering excellence in filmmaking," Femi said.


“What better way to honour this incredible milestone than with the release of his latest masterpiece: Her Excellency — a film that reflects not just his artistry, but the depth of his passion and dedication to this craft."
