 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. PEDRO PASCAL, REVEALED THAT HE SERIOUSLY CONSIDERED QUITTING ACTING TO BECOME A NURSE DURING HIS STRUGGLING YEARS.(PHOTO).


 Pedro Pascal's journey to stardom is a powerful reminder that success doesn't always come on our timeline.


 The beloved Last of Us and Mandalorian actor recently revealed that he seriously considered quitting acting to become a nurse during his struggling years. "In my 30s I was supposed to have a career," Pascal said. "Past 29 without a career meant that it was over, definitely."


 His older sister Javiera Balmaceda (now a producer at Amazon Studios) had to step in multiple times to stop him from giving up. "When Pedro would say, 'I'm going to nursing school' or 'I'm going to be a theater teacher,' it was just like 'No, no, no, no! You're too good!'" she recalled.


 Pascal's friend Sarah Paulson even helped financially support him during those difficult years, sometimes giving him her per diem so he could eat.


 Now at 50, Pascal is finally experiencing the career he always dreamed of, proving that it's never too late for your breakthrough moment.
