 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  "I Spent $1M Dollars": Lil Win Shares Investments Made in Captain Ibrahim Traoré Movie


Kumawood actor and producer, Lil Win, has opened up about the investment that went into his upcoming movie.


Speaking in an interview ahead of the premiere, the actor disclosed that he spent nearly $1 million on the movie, titled Captain Ibrahim Traore: The Last African Hero.


According to Lil Win, he spent $500,000 on the movie's production and an additional $500,000 on promotion. 


He said, "Anyone who doubts that I spent $500,000 on the production has low mental IQ. No Ghanaian producer has spent this much on a movie... I spent the same amount on the promotion." 


Meanwhile, some Ghanaians have raised doubts about how much he spent on his yet-to-be-premiered movie. 


These doubts triggered  Lil Win to state that he believed if it were to be Hollywood producers who made these assertions, Ghanaians would have easily accepted it without doubts. 


He further stated that he invested heavily in the movie to put his brand on the international market. 


"Hollywood producers can claim that they spent over $300 million on a single movie and Ghanaians would believe it, but the moment an African makes a similar claim, they doubt it," he stated.
