 TROOPS APPREHEND SUSPECTED TERRORIST COLLABORATORS, FAMILY OF ISWAP FINANCE CHIEF SURRENDERS, RECOVER LOGISTICS ITEMS Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have continued to sustain pressure on  terrorists through series of intelligence-led operations that resulted in the arrest of suspected terrorist collaborators, the surrender of the family members of a senior ISWAP commander, and the recovery of terrorist logistics items. In one of the operations conducted on 27 July 2026, troops of 5 Brigade arrested six ISWAP collaborators in Damasak, Borno State. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects were allegedly generating funds for the terrorist group through the procurement and sale of cattle at designated markets in Gubio, Damasak and Ajuwango. Items recovered from the suspects included one Volkswagen Golf vehicle, vehicle keys, four mobile phones of different brands, cow meat and the sum of ₦317,950.00.  "She should face the law, but she also needs mental treatment" - Comedian Bovi says Ibom Air passenger needs more than an arrest 


Comedian Bovi has weighed in on the recent Ibom Air incident, offering a perspective that goes beyond legal consequences.


A female passenger on a Uyo–Lagos flight caused a scene when she reportedly refused to turn off her phone, slapped a flight attendant, and battled airport security as she disembarked . The viral footage showed the confrontation escalating until officials intervened and escorted her off the plane .


In his post, Bovi acknowledged the disruptive behaviour but called for compassion alongside accountability. He said, “That looked like a manic episode. Yes, she should face the law. But she also needs mental treatment.” He commended the professionalism of the airport staff in managing the situation and emphasized that mental health support should be part of the response.
