  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  SCUML  Seals Two Companies in Sokoto


The Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering, SCUML,  on Monday, September, 29 2025 sealed the premises of two Designated Non-Financial Businesses and Professions, DNFIBPs, Iman Multi Structures Ltd and Daraja Motors  for non -compliance with the provisions of the Money Laundering


(Prevention and Prohibition) Act 2022 and EFCC AML/CFT/CPF regulations 2024.


Both DNFBPs were initially sanctioned and fined on June 18, 2025 and August 13, 2025 respectively  for non-compliance with regulations but failed to make payment to the government.   


Investigations by Scuml Zonal Co'ordinator,   Assistant Commander of the EFCC, ACE Ahmadu Bello showed that the ultimatum to pay the fine offered the two organisations expired over a month ago.


 The premises will remain sealed until compliance with extant regulations is made.
