 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Senator Ned Nwoko has today in an interview with Channels TV, defended polygamy, affirming that having multiple wives brings balance and stability to a man’s life.


He sympathized with every man who has married just one wife. 

"All men should do that (practice polygamy). For instance, just imagine standing on one leg, you know how difficult it is, but to stand on 2, 3 or 4 is more balanced. So, I feel sorry for those who have one wife because it’s difficult to stand on one leg", he said.


This statement has since stirred up reactions across the media today amid the ongoing tension in his household, following the last wife Regina Daniels' earlier outburst and the recent acquisition of a new mansion.


Ned Nwoko also denied allegations of domestic vi0lence involving Regina, describing them as baseless.


He maintained that he has no regrets about his marital decisions and emphasised on how he loves and respects his wives and children equally.
