Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply.  Italy Crushes Nigeria 4-0 to End Flamingos’ U-17 World Cup Dream


Nigeria’s Flamingos crashed out of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup on Tuesday, suffering a humiliating 4-0 defeat to Italy in the Round of 16 at the Mohammed VI Football Academy.


The Azzurrine dominated from the start, breaking the deadlock in the 45th minute through Anna Copelli’s clinical finish just before halftime.


Italy doubled their advantage early in the second half when Caterina Venturelli struck in the 58th minute. Giulia Robino piled on the misery five minutes later with a 63rd-minute goal that effectively ended Nigeria’s hopes.


Rachele Giudici sealed the rout in stoppage time, scoring in the 92nd minute to complete a comprehensive victory.


The heavy loss ends Nigeria’s campaign in the knockout stage, as Italy advances to the quarterfinals.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
