 AU urges de-escalation as fighting displaces over 180,000 in South Sudan’s Jonglei state The Chairperson of the African Union Commission called for immediate de-escalation and strict adherence to South Sudan’s 2018 peace agreement, as renewed fighting in Jonglei State displaced more than 180,000 people and raised fears of further civilian harm. In a statement, African Union Commission Chairperson Mahmoud Ali Youssouf said he was deeply concerned by the deteriorating security situation in parts of the country, particularly Jonglei, where escalating violence and inflammatory rhetoric have put civilians—including women and children—at heightened risk. South Sudanese authorities estimate the number of displaced in Jonglei at more than 180,000, the United Nations humanitarian agency OCHA said last week. CP GIWA FELICITATES NDỊ ENUGU STATE ON CHRISTMAS COMMEMORATION, URGES CELEBRATION IN LOVE, PEACE, AND BROTHERLINESS


The Commissioner of Police, CP Mamman Bitrus Giwa, psc, has extended warm felicitations to the Government and good people of Enugu State, particularly Christians, as they celebrate this year’s Christmas, which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ.


The Commissioner of Police described Christmas as a momentous annual celebration that reminds humanity of the purpose of the birth and advent of Jesus Christ to the world, which is to bring salvation, hope, love, and redemption to believers. He urged Christians to celebrate with this consciousness, showing love, charity, and kindness to one another, especially to the needy, while remembering that Christ is the reason for the season.


CP Giwa further reiterates the unwavering commitment of the police to ensure the safety and security of all residents of Enugu State and visitors throughout the festive period. While wishing all a merry and joyous Christmas, he enjoins citizens to remain law-abiding and vigilant while celebrating and to promptly report suspicious persons or criminal activities.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
