  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. CP GIWA FELICITATES NDỊ ENUGU STATE ON CHRISTMAS COMMEMORATION, URGES CELEBRATION IN LOVE, PEACE, AND BROTHERLINESS


The Commissioner of Police, CP Mamman Bitrus Giwa, psc, has extended warm felicitations to the Government and good people of Enugu State, particularly Christians, as they celebrate this year’s Christmas, which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ.


The Commissioner of Police described Christmas as a momentous annual celebration that reminds humanity of the purpose of the birth and advent of Jesus Christ to the world, which is to bring salvation, hope, love, and redemption to believers. He urged Christians to celebrate with this consciousness, showing love, charity, and kindness to one another, especially to the needy, while remembering that Christ is the reason for the season.


CP Giwa further reiterates the unwavering commitment of the police to ensure the safety and security of all residents of Enugu State and visitors throughout the festive period. While wishing all a merry and joyous Christmas, he enjoins citizens to remain law-abiding and vigilant while celebrating and to promptly report suspicious persons or criminal activities.
