 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. The National Publicity Secretary of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Mazi Ejimofor Opara has opined that the people who have championed the Biafra agitation after Ojukwu, have been unable to advance any progressive course that will positively transform the economic or social fortunes of Ndigbo of their generation, this generation and even generation to come.


According to Ejimofor, what Alaigbo has experienced under the leadership of these men and their followers is just alter destruction. The APGA publicity Secretary maintained that the issue of marginalization which is often used as a tool by people who agitate for Biafra, is a social fact that exist in every society. According to Ejimofor.


“Marginalization is a social fact, it exist even in the most egalitarian society, just like cr!me, it is commensal  to human nature, there is no place you will go and there wouldn’t be unequal distribution of opportunities or even life itself “


Ejimofor aserted that in the course of establishing and finding a meaning to Biafra, the Igbos have lost alot, including humans and resources, hence he sees Biafra as a problem and unending struggle .
