Nigerian Navy Graduates 323 Personnel In Kaduna

The Nigerian Navy School of Armament Technology (NNSAT) in Kachia, Kaduna State, on Friday graduated 323 personnel from the Quarter Armourer and Fire Control I–III courses.

The graduates, drawn from Batches 25, 28, and 29, participated in the maiden gunnery regimental graduation ceremony. Governor Uba Sani, the Guest of Honour, described the event as a historic milestone celebrating the discipline, commitment, and professional excellence of the graduands.

Represented by the Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Yusuf Liman, the governor emphasized that the training bolsters national security and reflects the Navy’s growing technical and professional capacity.

He reaffirmed Kaduna State’s commitment to people-centred governance through investments in education, healthcare, social infrastructure, human capital development, and coordinated security efforts.

Governor Sani commended the impressive parade, highlighting it as a testament to the high level of regimentation, professionalism, and rigorous training of both instructors and graduands.

He urged the graduates to serve with integrity, courage, and precision, applying their skills with patriotism and loyalty amid Nigeria’s complex security challenges.

In his remarks, Commodore Chikaji Isah, Commandant of NNSAT, thanked the governor for honouring the ceremony through his representative. He noted that the presence of Kaduna State’s leadership underscores the state’s commitment to human capital development, security enhancement, and institutional growth within the Nigerian Navy.

Commodore Isah also acknowledged the Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abbas, for his visionary leadership in strengthening the Navy’s capacity to address contemporary security threats. He thanked the families of the graduands for their support and expressed confidence that the newly trained personnel would serve the nation with pride and dedication.

The graduation ceremony featured silent drills, match pasts, and the presentation of awards to outstanding officers and ratings in order of merit.
