Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011.  TROOPS SMASH BANDIT STRONGHOLDS IN SOUTHERN TARABA, FORCE FIGHTERS TO FLEE

4th December, 2025

Nigerian troops have dismantled multiple bandit hideouts in Southern Taraba, pushing fleeing fighters across the border into Benue State, military sources confirmed Thursday.

The offensive, part of Operation Peace Shield and Operation Zafin Wuta, involved the 6 Brigade of the Nigerian Army and Sector 3 of Operation Whirl Stroke. Targets included a network of bandit enclaves in Shiid village, Tor-Tser, Likam Mountain, Agia, and Tyozua in Takum Local Government Area.

The operation began at 0207 hours on December 7, based on credible intelligence of armed groups using the mountainous terrain as a stronghold. Troops were split into two units: Team A blocked escape routes around Tor-Tser, while Team B launched a direct assault on Shiid village near Likam Mountain.

“On sighting the troops, the bandits fled deep into the mountains, abandoning two major camps, which were subsequently destroyed,” a source said.

The bandits had reportedly boasted that their mountain hideouts were untouchable a claim the military says has been thoroughly disproven.

Casualty figures and arrests remain undisclosed as clearance operations continue.
