 Gov Uba Sani Announces Plan For Nigeria’s largest Inter-state Bus Terminal In Kaduna Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has unveiled plans to construct what he described as the largest inter-state bus terminal in Nigeria, both in scale and supporting infrastructure. The governor made the announcement on Sunday during the groundbreaking ceremony for the project, which will be located on a 20-hectare site along the Eastern Bypass in Chikun Local Government Area of the state. According to him, the ultra-modern facility will operate as a dual terminal capable of accommodating over 5,000 vehicles. It will be equipped with intelligent traffic management systems, advanced surveillance infrastructure, escalators and elevators to ensure easy access for all users, including the elderly and persons with disabilities. Bauchi Police Arrest 28-Year-Old Male for Criminal Intimidation, Assault, and Rape


... As CP Omolori Reiterates That Justice Will Not Be Tampered With


On 31/12/2025 at about 1042hrs, one Baffa'ji Muhammed 'm' reported at the Divisional Police Headquarters, Alkaleri, that on 30/12/2025 at about 1830hrs, one Baffa'ji Abba 'm' aged 28yrs (same address with the complainant), lured his biological daughter (name withheld) aged 8yrs of into a bathroom and forcefully had carnal knowledge of her through both her vagina and anus for about five times in a single day against her will.


On receipt of the report, a team of detectives led by CSP Kadiri Danjuma, DPO Alkaleri, swiftly visited the scene, moved the victim to General Hospital Alkaleri for immediate medical attention, and arrested the suspect.


During interrogation, the suspect willingly confessed to the crime without much ado.


The Commissioner of Police, Bauchi State Command, CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu psc(+), mni, has ordered the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) to conduct a discreet and diligent, investigation-based evidence gathering to explore the intricacies associated with the case.


The suspect will eventually be profiled and charged to court for the established offences.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
