 GOVERNOR UBA APPRECIATES PRESIDENT TINUBU ON THE AWARD OF STRATEGIC CONTRACTS WORTH  ₦1.178 TRILLION IN KADUNA STATE   Kaduna State governor has extended appreciation to President Tinubu, and the Federal Executive Council for the approval and award of transformative infrastructure contracts that will indelibly reshape the economic and social landscape of the state.   The statement personally signed by the governor lists the projects as follows; the Kaduna Light Rail Project an ambitious undertaking spanning a Kilometers corridor from Rigachikun to Sabon Tasha, alongside a Kilometers line from Millennium City to Rigasa, forming a 50-kilometre metropolitan network with an estimated value of One Trillion Naira. Complementing this is the critical reconstruction of the Mando–Kaduna– Birnin Gwari road, a 122-kilometre artery valued at ₦178 billion. Bauchi Police Arrest 28-Year-Old Male for Criminal Intimidation, Assault, and Rape


... As CP Omolori Reiterates That Justice Will Not Be Tampered With


On 31/12/2025 at about 1042hrs, one Baffa'ji Muhammed 'm' reported at the Divisional Police Headquarters, Alkaleri, that on 30/12/2025 at about 1830hrs, one Baffa'ji Abba 'm' aged 28yrs (same address with the complainant), lured his biological daughter (name withheld) aged 8yrs of into a bathroom and forcefully had carnal knowledge of her through both her vagina and anus for about five times in a single day against her will.


On receipt of the report, a team of detectives led by CSP Kadiri Danjuma, DPO Alkaleri, swiftly visited the scene, moved the victim to General Hospital Alkaleri for immediate medical attention, and arrested the suspect.


During interrogation, the suspect willingly confessed to the crime without much ado.


The Commissioner of Police, Bauchi State Command, CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu psc(+), mni, has ordered the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) to conduct a discreet and diligent, investigation-based evidence gathering to explore the intricacies associated with the case.


The suspect will eventually be profiled and charged to court for the established offences.
