  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano approaches 40th eruption as activity intensifies

 Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano is approaching its 40th eruption as recent activity signals that lava fountaining could begin anytime between Sunday and Wednesday, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS). The volcano, one of the world’s most active, has been showing heightened activity since Dec. 23, 2024, when its current eruptive episode, Episode 39, began.

The USGS has set Kilauea at a Volcano Alert Level of "Watch" and an Aviation Color Code of "Orange," indicating increased volcanic unrest and the possibility of an eruption that could pose limited hazards. On Saturday, volcanic tremors intensified, and dome-shaped lava fountains reaching 50 feet continued at Halemaʻumaʻu, feeding lava flows from both the north and south vents. Overnight activity included intermittent overflows, with lava spreading 250 to 500 feet wide and extending more than half a mile into the crater. By late afternoon, the south vent drained temporarily while a new lava dome emerged, quickly resuming overflows. The ongoing activity suggests that Kilauea could enter its next eruptive phase at any moment.
