HAILEY BIEBER SAYS HER PREGNANCY WAS A SURPRISE AND REVEALS SHE FACED A SCARY CONDITION. (PHOTO).

Hailey Bieber says her pregnancy was a surprise and reveals she faced a scary condition

Hailey Bieber recently revealed a health challenge that could have complicated her first pregnancy.

Speaking on the SHE MD podcast, the Rhode founder explained that before conceiving her son, Jack Blues, she learned she had a uterine septum a condition that can affect pregnancy outcomes.

Her OB-GYN, Dr. Thaïs Aliabadi, had cautioned her against getting pregnant until the issue was monitored, but Hailey admitted she wasn’t focused on starting a family at the time.

Life, however, had other plans, and she unexpectedly became pregnant.

Once she shared the news, her doctor expressed concern, explaining that a moderate uterine septum can raise the risk of miscarriage and preterm delivery.

Hailey’s risk was estimated at 25–40% for miscarriage and 10–20% for early birth. As the pregnancy progressed, preterm delivery became their biggest worry.

Fortunately, her body adapted as the baby grew, and the septum expanded in a way that allowed the pregnancy to continue safely.

Hailey recalled the mix of fear and hope she felt, while her doctor remembered their shared optimism that things would work out.

Hailey’s experience highlights how conditions like a uterine septum often go unnoticed until pregnancy is considered or underway.

She and Dr. Aliabadi emphasized the importance of monitoring, communication, and realistic optimism throughout the process.

Beyond her personal journey, Hailey’s story underscores the value of asking questions, undergoing screenings, and trusting medical guidance.

It’s a reminder that modern obstetrics combines careful monitoring with emotional support, helping expectant parents feel steadier even when risks are involved.
