Lisa Rinna reveals daughter Delilah's terrifying 'possessed by the devil' health battle, bribing kids to stay on TV

In her new book You Better Believe I'm Gonna Talk About It, Lisa Rinna opened up about the devastating challenges her family faced when her daughter Delilah was diagnosed with pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders associated with streptococcal infections (PANDAS).

Rinna recalled how the condition triggered severe panic attacks, obsessive behaviors, and frightening episodes that left her feeling helpless.

She described moments when Delilah screamed and pounded on windows, sometimes requiring her father, Harry Hamlin, to stay outside her classroom for hours or rush her to the hospital during intense breakdowns.

Rinna emphasized how the illness disrupted everyday life and placed enormous strain on the family. She compared Delilah’s recurring panic episodes to “sundowning” patterns seen in dementia patients, noting that the unpredictability made daily routines nearly impossible.

The actress admitted that the ordeal was the most devastating period of their lives, leaving her consumed by anxiety and fear that they had lost their child.

She also acknowledged the impact on her younger daughter Amelia, who often felt the need to stay quiet and avoid adding stress to the household.

Beyond her family’s private struggles, Rinna also shared lighter anecdotes about her daughters’ reluctance to appear on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, admitting she sometimes bribed them to film short segments.

Now 27, Delilah continues to face challenges with depression, underscoring the resilience required of both her and her family.

Rinna’s candid reflections highlight the lasting effects of childhood illness and the strength it took for her family to navigate such a difficult chapter.
