Carmen and Lupita Andrade’s recent interview offered a candid look at their lives as conjoined twins, addressing misconceptions and sharing their perspectives on relationships and family.
Carmen, who married Daniel McCormack in 2023 after meeting him on Hinge, dismissed claims that her sister disapproves of her marriage.
Lupita clarified that she had actually encouraged Carmen to date Daniel, describing him as “harmless,” and now considers him like a brother.
The sisters laughed off rumors, noting that while Lupita disliked one of Carmen’s ex-boyfriends, she fully supports her current relationship.
The twins also spoke openly about their decision not to pursue parenthood. Carmen explained that both she and Daniel agreed early in their relationship that having children wasn’t part of their future plans.
She added that they are infertile and that her own experiences with endometriosis pain reinforced her choice.
Both sisters reflected on their past babysitting and camp counseling experiences, which convinced them that parenting wasn’t the right path.
Carmen emphasized her respect for parents but admitted she wouldn’t feel capable of raising a child.
Despite occasional invasive questions from the public, Carmen and Lupita continue to share their story with honesty and humor.
They have built a large online following and use their platform to challenge stereotypes while highlighting their everyday lives.
Daniel has also spoken out against the constant curiosity about their private relationship, reminding people that such details are “none of your business.”
Through their openness, the sisters aim to normalize their experiences while maintaining boundaries, showing resilience in the face of scrutiny.
