 TROOPS OF OPERATION UDOKA DISMANTLE CRIMINAL SYNDICATE, RECOVER STOLEN WEAPONS Troops of 34 Artillery Brigade, operating under Operation UDOKA through the ongoing Operation EASTERN SANITY II, have recorded a significant operational success with the arrest of key members of a notorious criminal syndicate responsible for the ambush of troops on 4 May 2026. Unfortunately, the ambush claimed the life of one soldier and left another wounded. Following the attack, troops launched a series of intelligence-led raids aimed at apprehending the perpetrators and recovering weapons stolen during the incident. The Governor launched 500 units of First and Last Mile (FLM) buses, which will be deployed to communities as alternative means of transportation in addressing the security threat constituted by commercial motorcycles, popularly known as Okada. Musa Salisu graduated from GSTC Damagum and hails from Gaidam Local Government area. The young school leaver met H.E Governor Buni in Damaturu today to showcase and demonstrate a prototype Government House complex that he personally designed using cardboard paper. The governor, who was impressed with Musa Salisu's creativity and passion for architecture, asked the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Baba Mallam Wali to direct the State Scholarships Board to do whatever it takes to secure admission for the school leaver to study his dream subject.
