  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. Heartbreaking news from Peshawar where 59 Pakistanis have lost their lives in a terror attack,including 27 police officers. LAGOS WATERWAYS AUTHORITY BEGINS SAFETY TRAINING FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN IN RIVERINE PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN EPE As a way to catch them young and reduce water-related phobia among Lagosians, the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA) has commenced a week-long water safety class and swimming training for pupils in the riverine communities of Epe Local Government Area. According to the General Manager of LASWA, Oluwadamilola Emmanuel, the swimming training, is the third edition of The Agency's advocacy programme tagged: "The Lagos Water Savvy Kids" programme. He informed that LASWA is in partnership with Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) and Dolphin Swim School (DSS), a premier swimming organisation serving women and children in Lagos State. The President of the AFDB, Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina, who stated this in an interview at the Governor's Office, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, when he paid a visit to the Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun,  on Monday, noted that the facility became imperative as a result of the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia which had seen prices of wheat and maize skyrocket. Adesina added that the emergency food production facility would be supporting 34 countries, with 20 million farmers producing roughly 38 million metric tons of food valued at $12b. Alleged N754.8m Fraud: Court Adjourns For Adoption of Final Written Addresses in Ex-NIMASA D-G, Akpobolokemi’s No-case Submissions Till March 6 Justice R.I.B Adebiyi of the State High Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos, on Monday, January 30, 2023, adjourned till March 6, 2023 for the adoption of final written addresses in relation to the no-case submissions filed by both Patrick Akpobolokemi, a former Director-General, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, and Ezekiel Bala Agaba, who are facing trial over an alleged N754.8 million fraud. Akpobolokemi and Agaba, who are alleged to have defrauded NIMASA, were initially charged alongside Governor Juan, Vincent Udoye, Ekene Nwakuche, Adegboyega Olopoenia and a company, Gama Marine Nigeria Ltd., before the charge was amended to involve only both of them.
