  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Wike promises land in FCT, N350m to University of Port Harcourt The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr Nyesom Wike, has promised to allocate land in the FCT to the University of Port Harcourt for the establishment of its Centre for Leadership and Political Studies. Wike made the promise when the university’s Governing Council, led by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Sen. Mao Ohuabunwa, visited him in Abuja on Monday. The promise followed a request by Ohuabunwa for the minister’s support to enable the university to build the centre, a replica of the John F. Kennedy Leadership Center in America. The assembly, led by Speaker Martins Amaewhule and dominated by 27 pro-Wike lawmakers, issued a notice dated March 14, outlining allegations against Fubara and Odu. The letter, signed by 26 lawmakers, accused the governor of reckless expenditure, obstructing the assembly, and making appointments without legislative approval, among other claims.   The World Health Organization (WHO) has raised an alarm over an impending shortage of HIV treatments in Nigeria and seven other countries. This shortage is attributed to the Trump administration's decision to pause U.S. foreign aid, which has "substantially disrupted" the supply of HIV treatments [1). According to WHO's Director-General, Tedros Ghebreyesus, the affected countries, which include Haiti, Kenya, Lesotho, South Sudan, Burkina Faso, Mali, and Ukraine, could exhaust their HIV treatment supplies in the coming months. Ghebreyesus warned that disruptions to HIV programs could undermine two decades of progress, leading to over 10 million additional HIV cases and three million HIV-related deaths.
