 Kaduna Targets ₦120bn IGR In 2026 — KADIRS Chairman   Kaduna State has set an Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) target of ₦120 billion for the 2026 fiscal year, with the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) expected to play a central role in achieving the target. The Executive Chairman of KADIRS, Jerry Adams, FCTI, FNIM, FCE, CNA, disclosed this during the Service’s Annual Performance Review, Work Plan, and Strategic Retreat.  He explained that although the state government approved ₦74 billion as KADIRS’ official revenue target, the Service raised its internal benchmark to ₦80.09 billion to motivate staff to exceed expectations. He further stated that the proposed 2026 budget by the Kaduna State Planning and Budget Commission stands at ₦117.28 billion, with KADIRS expected to generate ₦74.28 billion, while Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) are projected to generate ₦43.24 billion. LUSAKA RESIDENTS BEAT UP  DAY LIGHT THIEVES BEFORE FORCING THE RING LEADER TO EAT LUNCH FULL OF HOT 🌶️.

Lusaka residents today beat up 4 day light thieves who attempted to steal during the day. After beating them, the ring leader was forced to eat food full of hot chili 🌶️.

March 10, 2023- Four suspects were beaten by a mob in Lusaka's Kamwala area after they entered a house and tied the owner and her maid.

The suspects gained entry through the gate after deceiving the maid that they had been sent to refill gas in the gas stove by the owner of the house. 

The maid then called the owner of the house, a female aged 27, who then engaged the suspects at the gate.

As they were talking, one of the suspects grabbed her by the neck and took possession of the key and opened the gate then entered the premises.

Before the suspects could execute their plan, the brother to the owner of the house arrived at the gate. The suspects noticed and attempted to run away but in the process they were apprehended by the neighbours. 

The case was reported and officers rushed to the scene where they found the suspects being beaten by a mob. They were only rescued by Police officers who later apprehended them.

The incident occurred on March 9, 2023 between 11:00 hours and 12:00 hours in Kamwala residential area.

The suspects were identified as Anderson Chalwe aged 45, Obedi Mboshi aged 42, Emmanuel Mwansa aged 39 and Emmanuel Mulenga aged 44 all of unknown address.

They are all admitted to the University Teaching Hospitals where they are receiving treatment.
