 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  LASG ANNOUNCES TRAFFIC DIVERSION FROM OSBORNE/DOLPHIN TO SURA, ADENIJI-ADELE LINK BRIDGE FOR ROAD ASPHALT PAVEMENT



The Lagos State Government has announced that traffic will be diverted from Osborne/Dolphin Estate to Sura enroute Adeniji-Adele Link Bridge from 12.00 am tonight, Saturday, 27th July to 5.00 am on Monday, 29th July, 2024 for asphalt pavement of the road.


Consequently, Motorists are advised to use the following alternative routes:


Scene 1                                                                                      


Motorists from Osborne/Dolphin Estate are advised to connect Sura Link Bridge to Adeniji-Adele to access the Third Mainland Bridge to continue with their journeys


Scene 2


Motorists from the State House at Marina are to connect Obalende to link Simpson Bridge inward Sura to access Adeniji Adele to link the Third Mainland Bridge for their desired destinations.


The Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi assured that the State Traffic Management Personnel will be on ground to manage vehicular movement and reduce inconveniences.


Advisory: - Motorists are implored to be patient and adhere to the direction of movements by the Traffic Management Personnel.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
