 HAJJ 2026: 1600 LAGOS PILGRIMS ARRIVE SAFELY FROM MAKKAH The 1,600 Lagos pilgrims who participated in the just-concluded Hajj exercise in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have all arrived safely to join their respective families. The safe arrival of the last and final batch of 187 pilgrims on Saturday marked the conclusion of the 2026 Hajj operations. Speaking to journalists at the tarmac of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, the Amir-ul-Hajj and State Commissioner of Home Affairs, Ibrahim Layode said that the spiritual exercise was a success for Lagos State. The Commissioner who attributed the success to the exemplary conduct of the pilgrims while in the Holy Land maintained that the State also made adequate arrangements by engaging critical stakeholders ahead of the journey.  Women Prefer "Bad Boys" Over Nice Guys, Says Media Personality Frank Edoho


Popular media personality Frank Edoho has stirred debate with his recent comments on TVC’s talk show, The Black Table, claiming that the majority of women are not attracted to overly kind men. According to Edoho, women tend to favor “bad boys” who occasionally display kindness.


Edoho referenced a blog article discussing red flags that women admire in the opposite sex, which he said reinforced his belief that men should avoid being excessively nice. “The answers I got further my resolve that men should not even be nice at all,” he stated.


Citing responses from women, Edoho highlighted examples where women expressed attraction to assertive behaviors, such as a man saying, “I don’t want to repeat myself again,” which some found appealing. Others noted they were drawn to displays of power, as long as it was not extreme.


“There are some strange things going on in the minds of these women that you are trying to be nice to,” Edoho remarked. “I am not saying all of them are like that, but the majority of women don’t like nice guys. They want bad guys that are nice to them sometimes.”
