The Nigeria Police Force, under the leadership of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, is set to celebrate 70 years of women in policing, marking seven decades of courage, resilience, and dedicated service since the first set of policewomen were enlisted in 1955. This milestone underscores the vital role of women in strengthening law enforcement and fostering community trust across the nation.
