 A 14-year-old Ohio girl has taken her own life, and her family believes that social media played a role. Szedi Roush sadly took her own life on Friday, June 12th. The loss of such a young and vibrant life has left the Blanchester, Ohio community shocked and filled with grief as they struggle to make sense of her passing.  Szedi was a student at Blanchester High School, where she was very active in sports and, by all outward appearances, a happy and outgoing teen. However, Szedi's family says there was a side to her kept hidden from her family. Despite being hidden from family, Szedi posted about her feelings  on TikTok. Her father says her most recent post described her feelings, and the method she intended to take her life, garnered over 40 reactions ranging from likes to hearts.  Brooklyn Beckham snubs dad David’s 51st birthday as bitter family feud escalates


David Beckham’s 51st birthday was marked with warm tributes from his wife Victoria and their three younger children, but noticeably absent was any public acknowledgment from his eldest son, Brooklyn. 


While Victoria shared heartfelt posts praising her husband as the family’s “world” and “everything,” Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz remained silent online. 


David himself expressed gratitude for feeling “spoilt” by his loved ones, though the omission from Brooklyn stood out.


This wasn’t the first time Brooklyn skipped a family celebration. Just weeks earlier, he also failed to post about Victoria’s birthday, even as his siblings and father showered her with affection online. 


Reports suggest the Beckhams remain hopeful of repairing their relationship with Brooklyn, but the ongoing silence has left them saddened and surprised by the distance.


Underlying tensions have been simmering since Brooklyn’s 2022 wedding to Nicola. He previously accused his parents of interfering with the event, claiming Victoria canceled plans to make Nicola’s dress and even “hijacked” their first dance. 


In January, Brooklyn publicly declared he did not want reconciliation, alleging his parents were trying to sabotage his marriage. 


The continued absence of birthday tributes appears to reflect the unresolved rift between him and the rest of the Beckham family.
