 Peter Obi lies like fish drinking water –Festus Keyamo Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, has accused the 2027 Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, of deliberately fabricating claims regarding a recent airport incident. Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ on Thursday night, July 30, Keyamo alleged that Obi lied about his experience at the airport to score political points. “That man was lying. He lies like a fish drinking water. He lies. He lies for fun,” Keyamo stated. The Minister noted that Obi had publicly complained of facing harassment from airport officials strictly due to his opposition status.                24 year old Funke Balogun according to The Nation newspaper,who was a National Diploma II student of Yaba College of Technology {YABATECH},was allegedly electrocuted on a hotel bathroom on sunday.The incident happened at 30  Balogun street,Oshodi in Lagos where she and Abolade Adetunji her boyfriend,lodged in his mother's hotel that was commissioned last thursday.Her.Her family is alleging that she was killed but her boyfriend and his family are claiming that she was electrocuted.Her younger sister Funmi said Abolade came to pick her sister at their residence on saturday around 11pm,adding that was the last she saw of her sister.She said ''Abolade was in a hurry that night and i told my sister not to go but she picked some of her things and left with him.On sunday morning around 7,she called and said plans had changed that they were not going to the beach again but to a hotel and since then,we have been trying her mobile line.W...

                         10 Islamic State Leaders including individuals linked to last month's attack in Paris was killed by a U.S led coalition,with targeted air strikes.The spokesman for the coalition U.U Army Colonel Steve Warren said today tuesday that ''Over the past month we've killed 10 ISIL leadership figures with targeted air strikes,including several external attack planners,some of whom are linked to the Paris attacks.Others had designs on further attacking the West'',One of those killed was Abdul Qader Hakim,who Warren said facilitated Islamic State's external operations and links to the Paris attack network.He was killed in Mosul on December 26.One more photo below.

              Vice President Yemi Osinbajo {SAN} represented President Muhammadu Buhari today at the inauguration of a new and democratically elected president of Burkina Faso,Roch Marc Christian Kabore.Kabore emerged the winner last month after their general elections in Burkina Faso.Earlier in September 2015,President Buhari had presided over an Extra-ordinary session of ECOWAS leaders in Abuja regarding a military coup that took place that month in Burkina Faso.The meeting called for the restoration of civil rule and supported the progress of the political transition.This culminated in the November presidential and parliamentary elections in the country.Osinbajo represented President Bhari at the follow up meeting of select ECOWAS leaders in the nation's capital city Ouagadougou.That meeting contributed to the termination of the military coup and restoration of Burkina Faso's democratic transition.More photos below.         ...

              The just released list was published by New African Magazine base in London with over 2.6 million readers from across 100 countries of the world.Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari was among the Nigerians who dominated the list of 100 most influential Africans of 2015.Former President President Goodluck Jonathan also made it to the list.The two presidents were put in the list for the contributions they made in the 2015 Nigerian elections leading to a successful peaceful transfer of power from a ruling party to an opposition party.AFDB President Akinmwumi Adesina,Tony Elumelu,chairman,United Bank for Africa,Nigerian Diasporan and UK member of Parliament Chuka Umunna,World Bank vice president and treasurer Arumah Oteh and Nigeria's Minister of Environment Amina J. PETROL WOULD SOON BE AVAILABLE-NUPENG.

                         The Naton Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas {NUPENG} Workers on Monday says that petrol would soon be available in filling stations across the country.Mr Tokunbo Korodo,Chairman of of the Union told pressmen that there had been improvement on loading of petroleum at the deports in Lagos.He observed that Nigerians would appreciate the present regime if it could reduce the price of petroleum.The NUPENG Chairman said that the government meant well for all and sundry,in spite of the few greedy that worked to frustrate genine intentions.NAN reports that the Minister of state for petroleum,Dr.Ibe Kachikwu,had earlier said that a price modulation in petrol would begin by January 2016.Kachikwu disclosed this during his inspection of the Port Harcourt Refinery Company {PHRC} on Christmas day.One more photo below.                           ...
