 ABIA RECORDS NIGERIA’S FIRST PAROLE RELEASE UNDER CORRECTIONAL SERVICE ACT Abia State has recorded Nigeria’s first parole release under the Nigerian Correctional Service Act, 2019, with ten inmates released under the programme. In a statement, the Service Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Jane Osuji, says the development marks the first practical implementation of the parole provisions of the Act. Representing the Controller-General of Corrections, Sylvester Nwakuche, at the event in Umuahia, Assistant Controller-General of Corrections, Ngozi Okeke, describes the initiative as a major step in correctional reforms aimed at rehabilitation, reintegration, and custodial decongestion. The statement notes that the parolees were drawn from custodial centres in Aba, Umuahia, and Arochukwu, and received vocational tools and other reintegration support to aid their return to society. 10 ISIS LEADERS INCLUDING SOME LINKED TO PARIS ATTACKS,WERE RECENTLY KILLED BY U.S AIR STRIKES.

                         10 Islamic State Leaders including individuals linked to last month's attack in Paris was killed by a U.S led coalition,with targeted air strikes.The spokesman for the coalition U.U Army Colonel Steve Warren said today tuesday that ''Over the past month we've killed 10 ISIL leadership figures with targeted air strikes,including several external attack planners,some of whom are linked to the Paris attacks.Others had designs on further attacking the West'',One of those killed was Abdul Qader Hakim,who Warren said facilitated Islamic State's external operations and links to the Paris attack network.He was killed in Mosul on December 26.One more photo below.
