Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside. Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area. Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. The full circumstances surrounding the incident are still unclear, and authorities are yet to issue a comprehensive official statement. 10 Islamic State Leaders including individuals linked to last month's attack in Paris was killed by a U.S led coalition,with targeted air strikes.The spokesman for the coalition U.U Army Colonel Steve Warren said today tuesday that ''Over the past month we've killed 10 ISIL leadership figures with targeted air strikes,including several external attack planners,some of whom are linked to the Paris attacks.Others had designs on further attacking the West'',One of those killed was Abdul Qader Hakim,who Warren said facilitated Islamic State's external operations and links to the Paris attack network.He was killed in Mosul on December 26.One more photo below.
