  IGP DISU RECEIVES DG NOA, SEEKS STRONGER PARTNERSHIP ON NATIONAL VALUES, CRISIS PREVENTION The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today received the Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, during a courtesy visit at the Force Headquarters, Abuja. During the visit, the Director-General reaffirmed the Agency's commitment to promoting national values, civic responsibility, and public enlightenment. He highlighted the Nigeria Identity Project and the National Values Charter as key initiatives for strengthening national cohesion, while proposing closer collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force in the areas of public sensitisation, intelligence sharing, and early conflict prevention.  Music industry full of fake people – Rema


Popular Afrobeats singer Rema has claimed the music industry is “fake” and dominated by “fake people.” 

He said this inspiration came from his personal experiences and led to the creation of his song “Now I Know” from his sophomore album “He Is.” 

Rema explained during his listening party that the industry is filled with people who pretend to be something they’re not and it can be challenging to identify genuine supporters. 

He emphasised that when someone shows genuine love and support, it’s essential to appreciate it as it’s rare in the industry. 

Rema said: “There are a lot of fake people in the [music] industry, the industry is fake. So when people come and say ‘Yo, I love this guy,’ nobody should come at them that they’re chasing clout. No, it’s real.

“When somebody comes out it’s because they’ve seen someone that’s real among everybody in the crazy industry mixed with both the fake and the real.
