UPDATE: THE TENNESSEE SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER EMBROILED IN CONTROVERSY AFTER CALLING A STUDENT "HOT" HAS BEEN CHARGED. (PHOTO).

The Tennessee School Board Member embroiled in controversy after calling a student "hot" has been charged.

Keith Ervin, Washington County Board of Education member, singled out 17-year-old Hannah Campbell and exclaimed, "God you're hot, you know that? Where do you go to school?" He also grabbed and held the uncomfortable girl. The video went viral that captured the moment.

Just last week, Hannah returned to face the school board and speak her mind about their inaction to deliver any sort of substantial action against Ervin for the inappropriate remarks and actions.

Now, it seems local law enforcement has stepped in to ensure there will be consequences for Keith Ervin's actions.

Court reports in Washington County Tennessee, show a charge of assault has been filed against Keith Ervin on Monday, May 19th. The charge listed the violation date as April 2nd. That is the date of the now infamous school board meeting, letting us know these charges are connected.

We will update.
