Davido Calls Out Gboyega Oyetola Over Alleged Political Plan Ahead of Osun Election

Davido has publicly called out the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola, over an alleged plan he described as embarrassing.

The singer made the statement in the early hours of Tuesday through a post shared on X, where he accused the former Osun State governor of being desperate politically.

According to Davido, the alleged plan would not succeed.

“The most desperate politician in the world is @GboyegaOyetola very embarrassing. Oyetola your plan no go work.”

Although the singer did not reveal details about the alleged plan, the development comes amid rising political tension in Osun State ahead of the governorship election scheduled for August 15, 2026.

The controversy also follows Davido’s recent announcement that he would temporarily step away from music activities for two months to actively campaign for the re-election of his uncle, Ademola Adeleke.
