 Trump administration halts border wall well drilling in New Mexico after ranchers raise water concerns  The Trump administration has ordered contractors building a border wall in New Mexico to stop drilling new wells after ranchers raised concerns that groundwater pumping for construction could worsen drought conditions and threaten their livestock. The move comes as crews work to expand border barriers across four states as part of President Donald Trump’s immigration agenda. The project has received billions in federal funding and has faced criticism from residents, environmental groups and local officials over various impacts. U.S. Customs and Border Protection, which oversees construction, has said water is needed for concrete production, road construction and controlling dust.                    The painting above was painted by Sir Joshua Reynolds in 1770.The picture belongs to Francis Barber,who was a servant and was born enslaved in Jamaica around 1745,and he was brought to England  by his slave master Colonel Richard Bathurst.When Bathust died in 1754,Francis Barber was given his freedom and left a sum of 12 pounds.In 1750,Francis Barber joined another household which belongs to Dr Johnson.Dr Johnson would not allow Francis Barber to perform demeaning task like buckling his shoes and Dr Johnson in all things treated Francis Barber as an equal.Most people in these present day have house helps,how many people treat them like the way they treat their children {equals}.
