  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. Isaac Kwallu by the Legislative Arm of the LGA, Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong has sworn in the Deputy Chairman Hon. Abdulmalik Yusuf Haruna as substantive Executive Chairman. At a brief ceremony at the New Government House Little Rayfield-Jos, Governor Lalong said the event was coming in rather unusual circumstances because of the impeachment of the former Chairman by members of the Legislative Arm who had accused him on various acts of misconduct.         Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has directed the removal of Joint Account Allocation Committee (JAAC) from Banks that gave unauthorised loans to some Local Government Chairmen in the State. Governor Wike gave the directive while swearing in the substantive Chairman of the Asari-Toru Local Government Area at Government House, Port Harcourt . He directed the State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice to take legal action against the defaulting Banks. Governor Wike said both the Banks and the Councils that defaulted would suffer the consequences of the illegality. He noted that the Banks cannot seek refund of the loans because they contravened extant Laws of the State.
