Tinubu forgave Northern govs who opposed him in 2023, says Shettima Vice President Kashim Shettima has said President Bola Tinubu demonstrated political maturity by forgiving northern governors who opposed his presidential bid in the 2023 election, urging politicians in Kwara State to similarly reconcile after their contests. Shettima stated this on Wednesday in Ilorin while speaking at the turbaning of the Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, as the Sardauna of Ilorin Emirate by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari. Eid-el-Fitri: Abiodun greets Muslims, charges clerics, parents on youths immorality, get-rich syndrome  Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun, has greeted Muslims on the celebration of Eid-el-Fitri, which signifies the end of fasting in the holy of Ramadan. Governor Abiodun, who noted that fasting in the month of Ramadan is one of the pillars of Islamic faith, felicitated Muslims in the state for seeing the end of 29 days of spiritual exercise. Terrorists, who attacked an Abuja-Kaduna train on March 28, 2022 have released one of their victims, Sadiq Ango Abdullahi, son of former Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and now chairman of the Northern Elders Forum, Prof Ango Abdullahi. Sadiq had been confirmed as one of the Abuja-Kaduna train passengers abducted by bandits. SaharaReporters learnt that Sadiq was released on Friday after alleged payment of ransom to the terrorists after spending over a month in captivity.  Other victims remain with the terrorists. Sources had said Sadiq, a Peoples Democratic Party chieftain, was among those in the Business Class coach of the train, who were abducted by the gunmen. Sadiq had on February 5, 2022 dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress for the PDP.

The Catholic priest during a meeting weekend in Abuja urged the party and the people of the state to support his aspiration for rapid development and well being of the people of the state. Rev.
