 PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE COMMENDS RESILIENCE OF NIGERIAN WORKERS President of the Senate Godswill Akpabio has congratulated Nigerian workers on International Labour Day 2026, praising their resilience, hard work, and patriotism despite economic challenges. In his May Day message, Akpabio described workers as the true heroes of Nigeria’s democracy and the engine of the economy. He said the 10th National Assembly remains committed to improving worker welfare through a living wage, safer workplaces, pension reforms, and job creation and pointed to the passage of the new National Minimum Wage Act and ongoing welfare packages as evidence of that commitment.  The Senate President also urged both public and private employers to prioritize worker welfare, stating that a motivated workforce is key to national productivity and prosperity pledging that the Senate will continue partnering with labour unions to ensure workers’ voices are heard in policymaking, vowing not to relent until ev...

L'WREN SCOTTS BODY TO BE BURIED IN HOLLYWOOD CEMETERY.

Solemn: The casket reportedly carrying the body of L'Wren Scott was moved from a New York City funeral home on Sunday morning to Los Angeles          L'wren Scott's body was taken from a Manhattan funeral home on sunday morning and flown to Los Angeles where her boyfriend Mick Jagger is making arrangements for his late fashion designer girlfriend.Staffs Frank E Campbell funeral chapel on 81st street and Madison Avenue took out the dark wooden cofin containing L'wren's body at 10am for her journey to Los Angeles The coffin will be taken to Hollywood forever funeral home and cemetery where actors such as Rudolph Valentino and Estelle Getty were buried.L'Wren committed suicide last week monday at her New York home.Her boyfriend Mick Jagger is planning a small funeral ceremony in the next few days.Mick Jaggers daughter Karis was also seen looking for plots for L'wren's.More pictures below.                                                                                             Tragic duty: Karis Jagger visits a Los Angeles mortuary to make arrangements for L'Wren Scott's funeral.
