Peter Obi lies like fish drinking water –Festus Keyamo Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, has accused the 2027 Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, of deliberately fabricating claims regarding a recent airport incident. Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ on Thursday night, July 30, Keyamo alleged that Obi lied about his experience at the airport to score political points. “That man was lying. He lies like a fish drinking water. He lies. He lies for fun,” Keyamo stated. The Minister noted that Obi had publicly complained of facing harassment from airport officials strictly due to his opposition status. According to an international broadcasting network,a Briton and a Frenchman working for the United Nations were shot dead today monday at an airport in north central Somalia.A,United Nation mission spokeman said it was not clear who was behind the killings.But one witness said the pair were attacked by a man in a police uniform while they sat in their car at Galkayo airport.The UN which has spent billions of dollars in Somalia since the out break of civil war 1991,has often been targeted by warring clan factions,most recently by Al Qaeda aligned Islamist group Al Shaab.Nicholas Kay,the UN special Representative for Somalia,condemed the callous killing but said the organization remaind committed to contiuing our vital support to the Somali people as they emerge from decades of conflict.
