Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside. Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area. Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. The full circumstances surrounding the incident are still unclear, and authorities are yet to issue a comprehensive official statement. The couple have just discovered that French law requires at least one of them to remain in France for at least 40 days before the wedding.They only found out when the France required a residency requirement prior to the marriage.Kanye has an apartment in Paris,but he doesn't live there full time so they have to reschedule the wedding from May 24th to a later date that might be announced later.The French Embassy in Washington DC says ''All marriages must be performed by a French civil authority before any religious ceremony takes place.The Mayor can authorise the Deputy Mayor or a city councilor to perform the ceremony in the town in which one of the parties to be married has resided for at least 40 days preceding the marriage.These requirements cannot be waived ''.They will also only be able to have the religious ceremony after the civil one has taken place.
