 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. A CHINESE ARTIST,WEARS HIS RIBS AS NECKLACE?.

When somebody asked artist He Yunchang to show them his body of work, he took the request rather literally                                                          Yunchang,films himself having rib removed without anaesthetic and wears it as a necklace.In order to perform the operation,held under the supervision of a doctor,he cut a metre long gash from his neck to the his thigh,and filmed it on a camera.He underwent the entire procedure without any form of anaesthetic.According to Yunchang,online people vote was under the guise of a democratic process to decide whether he was going to perform his work or not.The result was 12 votes in favour of the work and ten against,with three abstentions.That's was when the gruesome procedure began.More photos below.             Body of work: In order to perform the operation, He Yunchang performed under the supervision of a doctor, he cut a metre-long gash, from his neck to his thigh, and filmed it on a cameraBody tension: He said the work, called 'One Meter Democracy' was intended to highlight the 'tension between the individual and the state' in ChinaPublic vote: He named the work 'One-Meter Democracy' after cutting a metre from his neck to his thigh after asking 25 people in the room to vote on whether he should do it or notStrong art: Born in 1967, He is now one of China's leading performance artists, known for performances designed to test his strength and endurance
