 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. GOV.OKOROCHA TO EVACUATE STREET TRADERS.

                              According to sources,the Governor of Imo state,who is also known for his humanitarian nature towards the poor,has charged the Imo Civil Guards to evacuate street traders on Douglas and other roads in Owerri,to maintain sanity in the state capital.On friday,Sam Onwuemeodo,the Special Adviser on media said ''The Civil Guard is a security outfit setup bu the state Goverment to maintain peace and order.That the governor gave the order while addressing officers of the guard in Owerri''.Oorocha urged them to assist the state governments to relocate the street traders on Douglas road to the relief market in order to de-congest the state capital.Director General,Imo Civil Guards,Donatus Ejifugha,assured the governor that the officers would carry out their function diligently without fear or favour.
