 JAMB explains ‘not admitted’, ‘admission in progress’ statuses The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has explained the meanings of the “Not Admitted,” “Admission in Progress” and “Admitted” statuses displayed on candidates’ Central Admissions Processing System. JAMB gave the explanation in an explainer video shared on Thursday, urging candidates to continue checking their CAPS for updates as the admission process progresses. Explaining the “Not Admitted” status, the Board said, “This simply means you’ve not been offered admission yet. However, it does not necessarily mean you will not be admitted.” It advised candidates whose status remained “Not Admitted” to keep checking their CAPS for possible updates. A BRITON,KIDNAPPED IN PLATEAU STATE.

                  According to sources,a British construction worker is believed to have been kidnapped in central Plateau state.According to captain Ikedichi Iweha,a spokesman for the special Task Force,which is made up of both military and police personnel,said ''The search began after the man failed to show up for work on Saturday morning''.They are suspecting the Boko Haram,a.k.a,B.H,might be behind the kidnapping.Iweha refused to comment further or give any further details.
