Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside. Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area. Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. The full circumstances surrounding the incident are still unclear, and authorities are yet to issue a comprehensive official statement. Yesterday wednesday,gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram Islamist group attacked Gwoza town.They raided the town which is 83 miles from Maiduguri before dawn,forcing the residents to flee their homes.A resident named James said ''Dozens of people have been killed by the attackers,some were slaughtered and many others shot with guns.The attackers also burnt down the Divisional Police Headquarters,the Local Government Secretariat and other public buildings in the town.They have scared hundreds of residents to flee to flee to the mountains along Nigeria and Cameroon borders''.There is Ebola in Nigeria and Boko Haram is still killing and bombing,which one is the worst virus from the two because for now they don't have a cure for the two outbreak?.
