A Tennessee family, and an entire community, has been left stunned and grieving after a pack of dogs took the life of a man out for a jog. When 43-year-old Marko Bursey arrived in Henning, Tennessee, to visit his parents, he had no idea that he would never be returning back to his home in Nashville. Marko could have never imagined the terrible fate that awaited him, lurking in the woods, near an abandoned school. However, Marko's horrific death has had an indelible effect on not just his loved ones but an entire community as they search for answers on how this tragedy unfolded. Remi Olowude,who is the Executive Vice Chairman/Chief Executive oddicer,CEO,of Industrial and General Insurance {IGI} Company,died of prostrate cancer at the age of 63 over the weekend.Osun state Governor,Rauf Aregbesola in a statement through the Diector,Burea of Communication and Strategy,Mr Semiu Okanlawon said that ''The death of Olowude was a big blow to the Insurance world,Osun state and Nigeria as a whole.The late insurance guru was an invaluable asset in the Insurance sector.Olowude's death has undoubtedly robbed the nation and insurance sector of another great personality.Here was a man of immense qualities,who had employed to promote everything ideal in his life time.Olowude,unarguably,distinguished himself in the insurance and business sector to the extent that his name became a house hold name across the country.I,on behalf of the government and people of Osun offer our heartfelt condolences,to the immediate and extended families of the deceased as well as the insurance family''.The Lagos state government also issued an official statement,describing his death as a great loss to the insurance industry in particular and the world of entrepreneurship in general.Rest in Peace.
