 Abuja High Court orders INEC to deregister ADC, Accord Party, others Justice Peter Odo Lifu of the Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to immediately deregister the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Accord Party, and others from participating in the 2027 general elections over alleged constitutional breaches. Justice Lifu issued the order on Monday, June 15, while delivering judgment in a suit marked FHC/ABJ/CS/2637/2026, and instituted by the Incorporated Trustees of the National Forum of Former Legislators against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and several political parties, including the ADC, Action Alliance, APP, Accord Party, and Zenith Labour Party. The plaintiffs argued that the affected political parties failed to meet constitutional requirements relating to electoral spread and performance. NEMA CONFIRMS 16 DIED AND 109 WERE RESCUED AT THE SYNAGOGUE CHURCH.

Synagouge           Today saturday,Mr Ibrahim Farinloye,the Public Relations officer of National Emergency Management Agency {NEMA}said 109 people who were trapped at the collapsed building in Synagogue church owned by Pastor T.B Joshua has been rescued while 16 dead bodies have been retrieved from the debris.The 109 people that were rescued from the six storey building that collapsed yesterday,was rushed to the Isolo and Alimosho General Hospital,while corpses were deposited at the mortuary.They further claimed that some people could still be trapped in the collapsed building as rescue effort was still on.Rumours going round is that the six storey building collapsed because they wanted to increase it to eight storey.
