 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. A GERMAN CITIZEN WORKING FOR JULIUS BERGER,WAS KILLED AND ANOTHER ABDUCTED BY UNKNOWN GUNMEN IN OGUN STATE.

               In an official emailed statement by Julius Berger construction company,they said ''One expatriate ,a sub contractor to Julius Berger,was shot and has subsequently died.The other expatriate,a staff of Julius Berger,has been abducted.Julius Berger is currently working in close co-operation with the Nigerian authorities to make certain the safe and prompt release of the person abducted and belives this to be an isolated criminal incident''.According to a Senior Security source,he said ''One car was stopped by the gunmen shooting,and when the driver of the other car saw what had happened he attempted to turn around but the attackers also opened fire on that vehicle,killing the German citizen''.The incident occured on friday,and the Germans who were working with Julius Berger,were traveling without their security escorts.One more photo below.
