AN INDIANA HIGH-SCHOOL GIRLS' BASKETBALL GAME ENDED IN TRAGEDY AFTER A REFEREE COLLAPSED ON COURT. (PHOTO).

 An Indiana high-school girls' basketball game ended in tragedy after a referee collapsed on court.  On the night of December 12th, the girls' basketball team at Monrovia High School was playing Speedway High School. With only 6 minutes left in the second quarter, an emergency halted the game, and fans were evacuated from the gymnasium.  Sadly, a long-time referee, Jeff Tamarri, had collapsed while officiating the game. A defibrillator was reportedly used within a minute of his collapse, and EMTs arrived just moments later. Sadly, despite everyone's best efforts, Jeff was pronounced deceased on scene by EMTs. Monrovia High School said they will have counselors available for students who may be affected by Tamarri's sudden passing. Our thoughts are with the family of Jeff Tamarri as well as the community as a whole.

A JUDGE IN THE U.S,RULED AGAINST THE 21 DAY'S ISOLATION OF EBOLA VIRUS IN FAVOUR OF A NURSE.

Conti-Bdn                Yesterday friday,a Judge in Maine,ruled that a U.S female nurse Kaci Hickox who treated victims of Ebola in West Africa does not need to be confined to her home,declaring Ebola fears in the United States ''Not entirely rational''.The nurse Kaci Hickox challenged the quarantine law set by the government in Maine.Maine's 21 day isolation regime, is a key battle to some U.S states and the Federal Government to curb the further spread of Ebola virus.A handful of states have imposed mandatory quarantines on health workers returning from Ebola outbreak countries in West Africa in which the government is even considering discouraging potential medical volunteers.The Judge decided that Nurse Kaci Hickox must continue direct monitoring of her health,coordinate travel plans with officials and report any symptoms.Nurse Kaci Hickox said through a video shown in her lawyers office in New York that ''I'm happy with the decision the judge made today.i think we are on the right track.I think now we're discussing as a nation and individual communities about this disease''.Untill the Judge catches Ebola that's when he will  understand that Ebola is not a joke.More photos below.                                                                                     Kaci Hickox, a nurse who arrived in New Jersey on October 24 after treating Ebola patients in West Africa, speaks to her lawyer Norman Siegel from a hospital quarantine tent in Newark, New Jersey, October 26, 2014, in a photo provided by attorney Steve Hyman.
