 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.                    According to a new video posted today saturday by the Islamic militant group Boko Haram,through French News Agency.In the video,Shakau {the leader of the group},claimed he had married off all the kidnapped Chibok girls {above 200 in number} to his fighters.This is a very sad news because these new video now contradicts the Nigerian government claims that the missing girls will soon be released.My heart goes out to the family of these missing girls who turned out to be involved in these modern day slavery.More photos below.
