 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. NIGERIAN UNION OF TEACHERS IN OSUN STATE,GAVE AREGBESOLA 14 DAYS ULTIMATUM BEFORE THEY STRIKE INDEFINITELY

                                                            Osun chapter of Union of Teachers {NUT}in a letter sent a letter to Governor Rauf Aregbesola that gave the governor 14 days if he fails to provide their outstanding allowances,release running grants and provide instructional materials in schools or they embark on an indefinite strike.The letter was signed by the Union Chairman,Comrade Olawuyi Emmanuel,that ''In out last communique issued on 14 October 2014,jointly signed by the NUT and ANCOPSS,we requested the state government to honour and give immediate attention to following demands.We also demanded the provision of instructional materials to schools,release of current examination and previous running grants to schools,and the payment of leave grants of secondary schools teachers since December 2013.In the same communique,we could recall that the NUT humbly requested that the state government or its representative to invite the leadership of the union for a dialogue to address the issues.Unfortunately,the state government has not considered it necessary to do so,while our job as teachers in the classroom continues to suffer.In this regards,therefore,the Nigerian Union of Teachers wish to give the state government our ultimatum of 14 days to address the above issues''.More photos below.
