 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. GAMBIA'S PRESIDENT,RESHUFFLES HIS CABINET AFTER COUP ATTEMPT.

               Yesterday monday,Gambia's president Yahya Jammeh,made some changes in his cabinet after a coup attempt.He reshuffled three major positions in his government.He reshuffled the ministry of foreign affairs,the ministry of information and the ministry of transport.He replaced every of the above mentioned ministry their ministers,and replaced them with fresh and ex serving ministers from other ministries.Prosecutors in the United States yesterday monday,charged a Texas business man with bankrolling and trying to lead the coup with the support of a former U.S Army Sergent.President Jammeh who came to power in a 1994 coup,has accused foreign based dissidents of being behind the coup bid.Though Jemmeh was out of the country when gunmen attacked the capital Banjul,late 2014 December.One more photo below.
