Peter Obi lies like fish drinking water –Festus Keyamo Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, has accused the 2027 Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, of deliberately fabricating claims regarding a recent airport incident. Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ on Thursday night, July 30, Keyamo alleged that Obi lied about his experience at the airport to score political points. “That man was lying. He lies like a fish drinking water. He lies. He lies for fun,” Keyamo stated. The Minister noted that Obi had publicly complained of facing harassment from airport officials strictly due to his opposition status. This protest is getting out of hand as stones and fire are being thrown at innocent churches that did not take part in sketching the Charlie Hebdo's cartoons he drew about the Prophet Mohammed,today saturday in Niger Republic.Yesterday friday,five people were killed in Niger in protest over the cartoons of Prophet Mohammed and protesters in Niamy attacked a police station and burnt atleast two police cars near the main mosque after authorities banned a meeting called by local Muslim leaders.Police actually responded with teargas on the protesters.Amadou Abdoul Ouahah,a protester who took part in the demonstration said ''They offended our Prophet Mohammed,that's what we didn't like''.Four Muslim preachers who had convened the meeting in Niamy were arrested.Protesters also burnt the French flag and set up road blocks on streets in town center but no casualties for now were reported today saturday.More photos below.
