 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. W.H.O,DECLARES LIBERIA AN EBOLA FREE COUNTRY TODAY.

                     The World Health Organization says Liberia is now free of Ebola virus after going through a 42 days without any new cases.Ebola claimed more than 4,700 lives in Liberia more than any other country.It's neighboring countries Sierra Leone and Guinea continue to fight the outbreak.At the height of the crisis in September,Liberia was dealing with more than 400 new cases a week,forcing the country into a state of emergency.W.H.O officials warned that there was a high risk that infected people may cross into Liberia over the region's exceptionaly porous borders and asked people to be careful until the rest of the affected countries are free.Mararetesa Caccia Puoti,MSF's head of mission in Liberia said ''We can't take our food off the  gas until all three countries record 42 days without no cases''.One more picture below.
